Free Smoke Alarms and Fire Safety Check - Fire services across Wales offer a free fire risk assessment for all homes. Where appropriate, they supply and fit smoke alarms free of charge. Families can self refer to this scheme and should contact: 0800 169 1234. Community Fire safety officers will also come and talk to community groups about reducing the risk of fire. All of these services are free.
