Training Opportunities 2009 / 2010

Torfaen Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership is committed to developing the skills of staff working with children in an Early Years or Childcare setting within Torfaen. A series of workshops have been arranged by the Partnership. The workshops are free of charge for all staff employed in Early Years and Childcare settings.

Other organisations are also involved in offering training to those working with young children in a range of settings. Please contact the training provider for information on times, venues and costs.

Child Protection Training 2009

A new programme of Safeguarding Children: Child Protection Training has been rolled out to all CSSIW registered childcare settings in Torfaen. Each setting has been asked to designate one person to be the Child Protection Coodinator and training is being administered to them, along with the setting's registered person, if different.
