Early Intervention - Information for Providers
As childcare providers in Torfaen we know that you are passionate about providing a supportive and inclusive place all of the children you take care of every day.
Within Early Years we look at how best we can support families with an emerging need, where resources are available. We aim to provide an integrated approach to Family Support services utilising the existing structures and systems delivered by all Early Years Services.
Who do we contact for support?
If you believe you have identified a child with other emerging needs within your setting, it is important first to speak with the parents and carers of the child. Please see see the Communication Pathway to see who to request support.
Torfaen Early Intervention panel has been established to provide a single point of access, to provide early intervention and additional support to vulnerable children and families identified for those with emerging needs under our Universal services offer. The multi-agency professionals will be there to support you, the family and the child through their journey.
